Walking Trail
The Lake Toccoa Walking Trail is a .7 mile handicapped accessible walking trail around the perimeter of beautiful Lake Toccoa. The trail consists of both concrete paths and wooden boardwalks. Free and open to the public, we encourage you to enjoy the scenic beauty that Lake Toccoa has to offer.
Bikes, wheelchairs, and strollers are permitted on the walking trail. Motorized vehicles are prohibited.

Materials: Concrete and wooden boardwalks
Minimum Width: 8 feet with a range between 8 feet and 10 feet
Typical Grade: 8% with a range between 8% and 13%
Typical Cross Slope: 0% with a range between 0% and 2%
Please note that there is also exhibit signage around the Lake. We encourage you to stop and review each sign and enjoy historic pictures of Lake Toccoa, as well as information about the history of the property. A full narrative of Lake Toccoa is attached below.

The Lake Toccoa Trail is a cooperative project for outdoor recreation assisted by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. It opened to the public on July 1, 2021.
