All applicants must meet minimum qualifications to be considered for a position as a police officer with the Toccoa Police Department:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Not have any felony convictions
Other requirements for employment include:
- Medical examination
- Polygraph examination
- Drug screen
- Good moral turpitude
- Good customer service skills
