RE: The Vintage Vixens Return to Ida Cox Music Series

TOCCOA, GA, July 11, 2023– A crowd favorite act will return to the Ida Cox Music Series this weekend. The Vintage Vixens will be in downtown Toccoa on Saturday, July 15 th , 2023. Inspired by 60’s fashion, on stage these ladies look like the music they play—groovy, funky, hippie! The Vintage Vixen playlist includes covers of the biggest hits from Motown, The Mamas & The Papas, Turtles, Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Drifters, Cream, Young Rascals, The Kinks and more including some 70’s favorites, too like 3 Dog Night and Sly & The Family Stone. Opening for The Vintage Vixens will be local artist, Matt Sexton. Music starts at 7pm. The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, the show will be relocated to The Historic Ritz Theatre.

August 12 – Randall Bramblett Band (Opening Act – Jimmy Scott)
August 19 – The Wobblers (Opening Act – Rock N Earl)
August 26 - Milkshake Mayfield

The Ida Cox Music Series, named after famed Toccoan Blues musician, Ida Cox, features free music in Downtown Toccoa every Saturday in June, July, and August. The music starts at 7:00 pm and the series lasts until approximately 10:00 pm each Saturday night. Bring a lawn chair to Downtown Toccoa and enjoy live music, food, and drink in a relaxing atmosphere.
