RE: Sixth Annual Toast of Toccoa
Toccoa, GA, April 25, 2023 – The sixth annual Toast of Toccoa will be held Saturday, April 29, from 12:00 am – 6:00 pm in downtown Toccoa.
Artists’ booths, area wineries, craft beer, classic cars and food vendors will once again line Doyle Street from Hill St. to Alexander St.
Tickets for beer and wine samples can be purchased at two tents; one at the corner of Doyle Street and Sage Street and one at the intersection of Pond St and Doyle St for $2 a ticket. ID’s will be checked at the ticket booths before tickets can be purchased. Beer and wine open containers will not be allowed outside of the festival area.
The wineries will be located on Doyle Street from Sage Street to Pond Street and will offer wine tastings. Bottles of wine can be purchased at the different wine booths. Currahee Vineyards, Crane Creek Vineyard, Three Sisters Vineyard, Tiger Mountain Vineyard, Chattooga Belle Farm, Farm 2 Cocktail, and Southern Distributers will be participating this year. New this year will be a demonstration of how beer is brewed hosted by Brian Skvarka. The booth will be located at the corner of Pond Street and Doyle Street.
Food trucks will be located on Doyle St from Pond St – Hill St. Dot Bowl, Mike’s on the Go, GA Concessions, and Chick-fil-a will all be participating. Just Right Catering will be located in the front of their business.
The entertainment stage will be located at the intersection of Sage Street and Doyle Street. Last Call Band will perform from 12:00 –3:00 pm and Jack Hicks and the Journeymen will be on stage from 3:00 – 6 p.m.
Cruzin’ Down Doyle, a monthly cruise in, will be located on Doyle St from Sage St to Alexander St. Spaces will be limited and the entrance will be on Alexander St. There is no entrance fee.
Artisans from the Currahee Artists Guild and other regional arts organizations who will display their artwork in separate booths set up throughout the downtown area. Visitors will be able to talk one-on-one with the individual artist about their particular work and will be able to purchase selected works of art.
There is no cost for admission to the event.
